By joining forces with the Peace Parks Foundation, the Maison wishes to support the protection and surveillance of Loggerhead and Leatherback sea turtles, species particularly in danger of extinction due to human threat.

The project, funded by Van Cleef & Arpels will allow surveillance posts to be set up along the East African shoreline, in particular on the coasts of Mozambique and along the Lubombo reserve.

The Peace Parks Foundation is creating a network of protected areas connecting ecosystems beyond international frontiers; it seeks to establish cross-border protected areas (Peace Parks) whilst developing the local workforce in order to ensure durable economic development and the conservation of biodiversity.
