I was going through a stroll on Fifth Avenue on Saturday, enjoying the beautiful weather and the shedding of layers of clothing, when I stumbled across the Harry Winston windows. I apologize for the bad pictures, but you will see why it is no crime to any visualization when you realize what was behind the glass.

Underwhelming, no? As you could see, no red carpet jewelry there. Harry Winston had the heart shaped diamond on a chain on the left and a pair of earrings on the right. Beautiful stones, no doubt about it. And I know that people who know me know that more is more in my book. However, I expected a bit more excitement from the brand with some of the best diamonds in the world. Zales downtown had more in the window than HW!
